In Portugal, The Navigator Company is planting a total of 15.38 hectares of pine, cork oak, and strawberry tree forests in the areas of Penamacor and Oleiros.
Emissions associated with paper production will be offset through three forestry projects: 5.88 hectares in Ferreiras 4 hectares in Canafíxal (both in the Penamacor area) 5.5 hectares in Fonte Carvalhos (Oleiros)
These projects are managed and implemented by NAVIGATOR on its own land, in accordance with best forestry practices.
While reforestation takes place in Portugal, responsibility does not stop there.
In Croatia, Pergament Promet continues this initiative through local reforestation activities.
Reforestation in collaboration with Project O2
Project O2 offers an innovative reforestation service using unmanned aerial vehicles. This technology enables forest planting three to five times faster than traditional methods, actively contributing to the preservation of natural resources and the fight against climate change.
Beyond planting speed, a key innovation lies in SeedBombs: seed-filled spheres that drones disperse from the air using a specially designed seed launcher.
